.. when I see ads for shows like Jersey Shore or Dr. Phil or the one about Bruce Jenner’s stepkids or any of the ones enntirely about cupcakes, I think that these shows have to be part of some sort of secret government program to take away voting rights from stupid people or something. The right to vote is typically regarded as pretty F-ing fundamental, but could you imagine anyone plausibly making the argument that fans of Jersey Shore should be allowed to vote?! Or anyone that watches an entire series about cupcakes?! And people actually self-identify as fans of these shows. So maybe some authority created these shows just to have leverage in their argument that stupid people should be stripped of their right to vote. There probably is no such government program, but if their is, I support it.
