I just signed up for the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon
This should be an interesting experiment. I just signed up for the Lakefront Marathon. My plan is to train using CrossFit Endurance (or similar program) mostly. I haven’t really paid all that much attention to CrossFit Endurance so far, but I think I get the idea. This is definitely going to push me to study up on it. I plan on doing my regular CrossFit programming 4 or 5 times a week, plus one long-ish run (like 12 miles tops), and two tempo or interval runs per week. I don’t want to get much over 20 miles per week. Maybe 25 or 30 as I get closer to race time. I plan on doing 5Ks on weekends in the summer to serve as my tempo runs. The goal time is 3 hours.

Awesome! I thought about doing one to see how well I’d do with CF opposed to no CF. and then decided a half would be better :)
